Clinical Adjunct – Traditional Campus – College of Nursing and Health Care Professions

Immediate part-time, traditional clinical instructors needed for:



  • Pediatrics

  • Medical/Surgical

  • Critical Care

  • Mental Health

  • Home Health

  • Community Health


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:



  • Teaches one or more subjects within prescribed curriculum.

  • Stimulates class discussions.

  • Compiles, administers, and grades assessments.

  • Remains current with new trends and development in his/her field of expertise.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree required (BSN), Master's degree preferred (MSN).

  • Three-five years of experience as a professional nurse providing direct patient care in relevant area/field is preferred.

  • Unencumbered, current Registered Nurse Licensure in New Mexico or a compact state required.

  • Knowledge of Internet software and Microsoft Office.

  • Willingness to work with colleagues at the department, college, and university levels.

  • Respect for and ability to work with students and colleagues.
