Contract faculty positions available August 16, 2013, for the academic year for undergraduate adult health medical-surgical and psychiatric mental health.
Responsibilities: teach classroom and clinical courses; supervise students in the undergraduate program and other undergraduate and graduate courses as appropriate.
Minimum qualifications for undergraduate faculty: current unencumbered State of Indiana Registered Nurse License; earned master's degree in nursing or related area or satisfactory progression toward master's degree in nursing.
Minimum qualifications for graduate faculty: current unencumbered State of Indiana Registered Nurse License; earned master's degree in nursing or related area; certification as a NP or an earned doctorate in nursing or related field.
Preferred qualification: teaching experience in higher education; clinical nursing experience in related area of teaching; ability to communicate effectively; ability to integrate technology in nursing education; current clinical practice as an NP.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
