The School of Nursing invites applications for Full-time faculty positions with administrative responsibilities to lead both new and established programs. The School offers the following programs: BSN, RN to BSN, Entry-Level Master’s, MSN including a variety of nurse practitioner and clinical nurse specialist tracks, post-MSN certificates, DNP, and PhD.
Successful candidates will offer the following:

Ability to develop and evaluate new and existing programs
Willingness to engage in recruitment of faculty and students
Active engagement in Curriculum and Program development
Desire and ability to maintain an active research program and scholarly activities
Enthusiastic mentoring of faculty
Participate in faculty and program governance
Ability to manage budgets
Generate creative ways of teaching and supporting learners
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include providing leadership for the academic programs, program evaluation and accreditation activities, and student recruitment and retention. This position is responsible for preparation and administration of the department budgets and for making appropriate recommendations to the Dean regarding personnel needs. This position is also directly responsible for developing faculty to be successful in teaching, research and service to the University.

Qualifications
:
Earned doctorate in Nursing preferred or closely related discipline
Active California Registered Nurse license or eligible to acquire
Advanced practice nurses and those with a background in Genomics/Epigenomics, Vulnerable Populations/Health Disparities research, and those with an interest in Spirituality and Health are strongly encouraged to apply
Experience:
Professional expertise and experience commensurate with specific position requirements.
