West Coast University is currently seeking a Manager, International Education Faculty in the Southern California area.

Be ahead of the curve in changing the lives of the future nursing community across the Globe. You will guide and lead Nursing students on a two week study abroad program in Latin America, Europe and educate them on Public Health awareness.
Job Summary:
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, University Relations with an indirect reporting relationship to the Dean, College of Nursing, assists the Director of International Education in the coordination and execution of a variety of academic and clinical global awareness opportunities for students and faculty.
Additionally, the Manager, International Education Faculty:
Serves as the clinical expert and liaison in the identification of appropriate clinical experiences, such as Public Health and Disaster Response.
Provides administrative leadership and management of multi-disciplinary teams including, but not limited to registered nurses, dental hygiene and other health care degree programs in support of University.
Travels as needed for representation and/or coordination of West Coast University’s Global Studies program.
Participates in location scouting trips as identified as potential student opportunities. Aspects of these reconnaissance missions will include, but are not limited to visits to international Universities, hospitals, community clinics and villages.
Obtains information on local culture and customs.
Determines students and teaching needs on scouting trips and creates trip reports/recommendations as to the appropriateness of destination for WCU students.
F ulfills assigned teaching load.
Qualifications:
Masters in Public Health, Nursing or related healthcare field required.
Must meet and maintain the qualifications and standards set forth by any accreditation body that West Coast University is accredited by or in process of obtaining accreditation from, for area of expertise and expectations of faculty member as set forth in regulatory documents.
Must maintain any professional certifications deemed necessary to meet the requirements of the teaching role.
Current Drivers License.
Valid United States passport and ability to obtain relevant Visas.
Current unencumbered Registered Nurse License required or other current professional licensure by state or national board if applicable.
Must meet and maintain the qualifications and standards set forth by the Board of Registered Nursing
Three to five years experience in international education.
Demonstrated experience with short-term educational and/or clinical experiences. International student supervision or study abroad experience.
Knowledge of regulations such as BRN, CCNE, WASC and other accreditation standards.
Knowledge of state, federal and local laws/regulations relating to international travel requirements such as visas, passports and disaster management/recovery/assistance protocols and other applicable regulatory standards.
