POSITION	Assistant or Associate Professor of Community Health Nursing
TYPE	Tenure Track
RESPONSIBILITIES	Teach lower and upper division courses Strong commitment to developing and implementing an innovative curriculum Typical teaching load is 12 credit per semester in two of three semester per calendar year (an may include summer semester)
QUALIFICATIONS (MINIMUM)	Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited graduate program in nursing Earned Doctorate by the time of appointment from an accredited doctoral program in nursing or related field RN license or license-eligible in California Current PHN certification (or eligible) in California Possess (or eligible for) California BRN approval as Community Health Nursing faculty Demonstrated ability to teach effectively using evidence-based educational strategies and technologies Demonstrated experience in service learning at the undergraduate level Experience working effectively in an ethnically and culturally diverse campus and student community
QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRABLE)	Experience teaching computer-assisted and online courses National certification as APHN-BC from ANCC Experience in global health and global health nursing Demonstrated leadership skills in professional or academic areas
