Summary of Job Duties
Duties include Classroom, Laboratory and Clinical instruction for the Practical Nursing Program. Faculty responsibilities are shared with other members of the faculty team. Additional duties include student advising and counseling; and, participation in program and college committee work.
Required Qualifications
BSN degree required. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas or have the qualifications to obtain licensure in Kansas as a Registered Nurse required. Strong background in medical/surgical nursing required.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Nursing or currently working towards a Master's Degree preferred.
Background in Mental Health Nursing preferred.
Teaching experience preferred.
