Job Description: This is a tenured-track faculty position beginning with the Spring 2014 semester of Academic Year 2013 to 2014. The College desires candidates with on-going professional development interests, love of teaching, and enthusiasm for campus and College committees and activities.
Supplemental Job Information: Nursing will be filling a second Nursing Instructor (Position Number FFC0054) position from this applicant pool. Both positions are for Medical/Surgical Nursing Instructor. The positions may be on the Dale Mabry, SouthShore, or Plant City campuses and may teach a day, evening, and/or weekend schedule. To be considered, applicants must have been awarded the qualifying graduate degree or graduate semester hours by August 2013. Applicants with a qualifying degree from an educational institution outside the United States and Canada must submit a foreign credential evaluation from one of the members of the National Association of Credential Evaluations Services (website: www.naces.org). Pay Rate: A faculty member shall be assigned to the appropriate salary grade based on the College's contract with the faculty union. The present entry levels are: (Grade III) Bachelor's degree plus college faculty experience $40,487, (Grade II) Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the field $42,548, (Grade II+) Master's degree plus 30 graduate semester hours in the field $44,814 and (Grade I) an earned Doctorate in the field $47,081.
