Job Summary/Basic Function: Teach primarily graduate courses in nursing as appropriate for area of expertise.
Maintain involvement in University, College, School, and professional service.
Contribute to nursing's body of knowledge through personal and collaborative scholarship.

Doctoral Degree in Nursing (PhD, DNS/DNSc, DNP) or related field.
Master's of Nursing with a nurse practitioner focus.
Certification in area of practice.
Current unencumbered license as a registered nurse in Georgia required at time of hire.
Advanced practice registered nurse license [nurse practitioner] in Georgia at time of hire.
Familiarity with NONPF standards.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's of Nursing with a family nurse practitioner specialist focus.
Familiarity with online instruction and with synchronous and asynchronous learning.
Evidence of methodological innovation and creative teaching strategies.
