Milligan College invites applications for a full-time tenure track professor position in Nursing at the assistant professor level, to begin fall 2014. Primary responsibilities include classroom teaching and clinical supervision and mentoring of BSN students caring for adult patients experiencing acute and chronic illnesses. Student advising and providing service on campus wide and Area of Nursing committees is also expected. The candidate must have a Master of Science in Nursing . Preference will be given to applicants with a terminal degree (applicants with candidate status will be considered). Only applicants with a recent and strong clinical background in medical/surgical nursing and or critical care nursing will be considered. Classroom and clinical teaching experience in undergraduate nursing is preferred. Commitment to integrating faith and learning in a liberal arts environment is essential. The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong Christian faith, commitment to the College mission, and a lifestyle consistent with the College's goals.
