The University of Houston-Victoria School of Nursing seeks qualified applicants with expertise and experience for Clinical Track positions to support the undergraduate programs in Victoria (1 position) and Sugar Land (2 positions) beginning January 6, 2014.
Faculty responsibilities include: ongoing curriculum development and evaluation; classroom and clinical instruction using on-site, simulation, and distance education strategies in the undergraduate programs; travel; participation in school and university committees; service and academic advising.
Qualifications:
1.Master's degree in nursing required.
2.Candidate must possess or be eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in Texas.
3.Minimum 2 years nursing experience.
4.Excellent clinical and communication skills.
5.Teaching experience preferred.
6.Ability to teach in the newly developed Family Nurse Practitioner program is a plus.
