Teaching graduate and undergraduate level courses in nursing, including web-based courses and clinical/practicum courses; developing web-based courses; carrying on an active research program in nursing; engaging in grant writing; participation in community and university service.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Nursing, DNSc, DPH, or PhD in related discipline by July 1, 2014. Must have at least one graduate degree in Nursing. Eligibility for Ohio Nursing license as a registered nurse. Demonstrated successful experience in teaching and research. Broad clinical and academic competence in Medical Surgical, Obstetric, and/or Pediatric Nursing
Preferred Qualifications:
Record of scholarship in nursing practice and/or nursing education that supports the undergraduate and graduate nursing curriculum and grant development; demonstrated commitment to nursing as a profession; teaching experience with positive evaluations; evidence of participation in nursing organizations at a leadership level. Robust research agenda with demonstrated success with publication and funding.
