Starting Salary Range: $55,015.41 – $86,069.03 annually

Primary Function:

The Assistant Professor, Nursing, will be primary responsible for teaching a variety of courses in the discipline of Nursing.


Minimum Qualifications:

Must meet ALL of the qualifications listed under a) through e):


a) A Master’s degree in nursing.

b) Current license or eligibility for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.

c) One year continuous experience in the practice of professional nursing.

d) Provided direct patient care as an RN or as an RN nursing instructor within the last five years in Pediatrics Nursing.

e) Eligible for approval as an instructor by the California State Board of Nursing.


Only coursework completed at, and degrees awarded by, accredited institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education will be considered as satisfying the minimum qualifications.
