Duties

You must demonstrate excellence in teaching, commitment to integrating new technologies in the learning process and the ability to inspire, motivate and empower students to succeed. You must model and teach the "soft skills" that increase student's ability to earn certificates and degrees of economic value that will lead to career success.

• Teach nursing concepts and skills.


• Create lesson plans and projects to engage students in applied nursing skills.


• Project-based learning in classroom exercises.


• Provide instruction to address the 3 common learning styles: visual, auditory, and kinesthetic


• Syllabus development that deliver student learning outcomes (SLOs), providing a learning map for students to manage student expectations.


• PeopleSoft skill development that results in self service access to student administration, including but not limited to entry of grades.

Qualifications:

Masters in Nursing or related field required, PhD preferred from an accredited institution
