Position Summary:
The University of Indianapolis School of Nursing seeks applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor of Nursing. This is a tenure-track, nine-month position to begin in January 2014.
The successful candidate will provide classroom and clinical expertise primarily in the RN-BSN program with potential teaching responsibilities in other School of Nursing programs depending on the applicant's qualifications. The faculty member will be responsible for online and hybrid nursing course instruction, student advisement, curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation and scholarly productivity.
Required Education/Experience/Skills (Minimum Qualifications):
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a master's of Science in Nursing is required with a doctoral degree preferred. A minimum of three years of clinical experience with a strong medical-surgical background is preferred. The applicant must have proof of an unencumbered registered nursing license in the state of Indiana. Previous teaching experience in a School of Nursing and previous teaching experience in online learning environments is preferred.
