Job Description:
PART-TIME CLINICAL NURSING INSTRUCTOR: PEDIATRIC NURSING: (Associate Degree Option in Nursing Program) (Division of Health Professions) (Part-time Day MCCC/MTA Unit Position) Anticipated Start Date: January 22, 2014.
Clinical instruction and evaluation of associate degree nursing students.
Clinical: 10 hours/week (Tuesday/Wednesday days).
Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Nursing is required for clinical teaching and current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license in good standing. A minimum of five years full-time experience with evidence of clinical competence in the area of pediatric nursing is required. Previous teaching experience in nursing education preferred, with currency in teaching/learning theory and techniques for a diverse student population. Demonstrated ability to work as a team member and knowledge of nursing curriculum design is preferred.
Additional Information:
Salary: $56.20 per contact hour, nursing part-time day faculty contract.
