Tenure-track Faculty Position in Nutrition

JOB DETAILS:

The Department of Food and Nutrition is seeking a dynamic, creative individual for a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank.


Anticipated start date: August 25, 2014


QUALIFICATIONS:


Earned doctorate by start date from an accredited degree-granting institution with at least one advanced degree in nutrition/dietetics. Registered Dietitian credential and membership in professional organizations required. Professional experience in dietetic practice, teaching experience, curriculum development, scholarly activities, and evidence of funded research are preferred.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in dietetics and nutritional sciences curriculum in areas of nutrition and food systems management. Deliver innovative curriculum and educational materials including online courses. Additional responsibilities include advisement, grantsmanship, scholarly activities, and professional service.


DEPARTMENT INFORMATION:


The Department of Food and Nutrition serves the undergraduate Dietetics and Food Science and Technology programs, the graduate program in Food and Nutritional Sciences, and the ACEND accredited Post-Master's Dietetic Internship program.
