Summary:
Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Project Assistant is primarily responsible for assisting with various recruiting tasks such as applicant tracking systems and candidate sourcing for faculty and administration openings at American Career College, West Coast University and Administration.
Job Description:
Provides administrative support for Talent Acquisition Manager in a broad range of recruiting functions. Assists with sourcing and research of potential candidates (i.e., social media, market research, internal posting responses, internal transfers and employee referrals.).
Prepares recruiting monthly reports and various correspondence. Assists with scheduling meetings and interviews. Continually updates applicant tracking system.
Supports Talent Acquisition with coordinating, calendaring and scheduling interviews, candidate travel and expenses. Handles applicant inquiries and responses.
Prepares, provides and processes documentation for new hires.
Interacts with employees and management in a courteous and professional manner to provide general assistance, or direct them to appropriate department or personnel.
Routes and/or answers routine correspondence. Answers department calls and takes or relays messages as appropriate.
Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Ethical Conduct, Compliance Agreement, Sexual Harassment Policy or any of its policies and procedures, applicable federal and states laws, and applicable professional standards.
Maintains established department policies, procedures and attends in-services and other required meetings.
Maintains confidentiality of all student, associate, and/or company information as required.
Exercises care, proper use and maintenance of department equipment and supplies and identifies unsafe conditions and makes appropriate adjustments.
Maintains order, cleanliness and safety at work.
Qualifications:
One to two years previous experience in human resources with emphasis in recruitment preferred.
Experience working with a server-based applicant tracking system, preferably Taleo.
Experience with MS Office.
Basic knowledge of education/governmental compliance and regulatory standards such as Title IV, WASC, and other accreditation standards preferred.
