St. Catherine University in St. Paul/Minneapolis is a comprehensive Catholic university with the nation's largest college for women at its center. The Department of Nursing invites applicants for a full-time ranked, tenure-track, faculty to coordinate the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program and teach in the graduate programs. R ank and salary are commensurate with education and experience.
Responsibilities: Administrative Coordination of DNP Program. Teaching students in the classroom and online, and engaging in scholarship and service per University guidelines.
Requirements: Doctoral degree in nursing along with a Master's degree in nursing (unless doctoral degree was BSN entry), is required. Also required is teaching nursing at the graduate level. Eligibility for RN licensure in the State of Minnesota is required. Administrative experience is preferred. Content expertise in one or more of the following areas: evidence-based practice, ethics, organizational systems, informatics, and/or health policy is required. Previous experience teaching at the graduate level, commitment to collaborative engagement with student advisees, and commitment to collaborative research with faculty and graduate students are preferred.
