The School of Nursing (SON) Nursing Laboratories Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the nursing instructional, health assessment and simulation laboratories to ensure their efficient functioning.

Minimum Qualifications:
- BS degree in healthcare or related field, with a working knowledge of medical equipment and supplies, Nursing and MS degrees preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare setting or nursing laboratory environment is required, preferably within the past 3 years
- The ability to work effectively with diverse groups
- Expertise with healthcare technology
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Ability to work in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with faculty, students, and staff
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office, particularly Access and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong consideration will be given for candidates with prior nursing laboratory and simulation experience
- Demonstrated expertise in providing skills/technology training
- Ability to collaborate with faculty in identifying needs and developing and implementing creative laboratory learning environments
- Successful grant-writing to support technology and equipment acquisitions a plus
