Widener University's School of Nursing (SON) has a vacancy for a Visiting Lecturer effective for Fall 2013. For further information about the School of Nursing, please visit our website at http://www.widener.edu/academics/schools/nursing/.


The Visiting Lecturer will teach primarily in the undergraduate program, with an emphasis on medical surgical nursing, health assessment and related areas; will develop a record of scholarship in an area of interest; and will engage in service to the School of Nursing, university and communities of interest.


Required qualifications for a Lecturer includes Master of Science in Nursing or Master of Science with a major in nursing, licensure as a registered nurse or eligibility for licensure in PA; and at least three years of recent clinical practice in adult acute care.
