Posting Summary:
The University of Virginia School of Nursing seeks applications to fill non-tenure-track, part time faculty wage positions during the 2013-2014 academic year. We seek experienced educators with strong clinical experience in the specialty areas of pediatrics, obstetrics, psychiatric-mental health and community/public health. Three years minimum experience is required in one of the specialty clinical areas mentioned. Responsibilities potentially include classroom lecturing but primarily will require the direct supervision of students in the clinical setting, along with evaluation of required written work. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching and mentorship. A Master's degree in nursing or related field is required; PhD is preferred. Applicants must be eligible for RN licensure in Virginia. Positions will be filled on an on-going basis according to curriculum needs.
Please note: This is an at-will faculty part time wage position which does not carry benefits.
