Posting Description: Examples of Work Performed: Primary Duties: Develop and implement the curriculum for the year-long BSN to MSN Enhancing Success Bridge Program Develop six modules related to skills necessary for success in graduate nursing work, such as writing, networking for clinical placements, basic research skills, critical appraisal and use of clinical evidence, complex critical thinking, leadership and policy Work with Campus IT at UCCS and five southern Colorado Community Colleges to leverage the technology necessary to implement the Bridge Program Find and ensure competent nursing instructors and/or teach the bi-monthly lecture modules Instrument development, implementation and analysis to evaluate the Bridge program, both from the student and instructor perspectives Supervise activities of the Student Success Coordinators at each of the five community colleges of southern Colorado Ensure the coordinators are following through with recruitment and teaching efforts at local high schools and community colleges Assisting coordinators with marketing efforts and career fairs Provide individual student mentoring as necessary Provide student progression assistance to coordinators Receive monthly recruitment and student data from coordinators Assist in writing bi-annual scientific reports to the granting agency (HRSA) Evaluate the program on a larger community and policy level scale to provide policy recommendations for future nursing education
Secondary Duties
Enter data into SPSS database and perform analysis (basic and complex) Organize and keep grant records Assist PD/PI with ongoing IRB approval Order supplies and marketing materials Provide bi-annual reports to the community colleges

Minimum Qualifications: The well qualified applicant must hold a master's degree in nursing or other health- related profession; At least two years of administrative or professional experience with online and/or traditional nursing education programs is required; other experience in higher education or health care will be considered.
