Mildred Elley, a private multi-campus institution, is seeking a Full Time Faculty- Practical Nursing for appointment at its Pittsfield, MA campus for its Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
Requirements/Required & Preferred Credentials:
Compensation:
Commensurate based on education and experience.
The successful candidate will:
- Maintain high standards and promote excellence in education in theory, laboratory and clinical nursing;
- Assist the Chair of Practical Nursing in scheduling and confirming use of clinical sites;
- Assist the Chair of Practical Nursing in developing curriculum content, including course syllabi, program outlines, articulation, and catalog materials;
- Teach courses as assigned;
- Serve as academic advisor and mentor.
Requirements/Required & Preferred Credentials:
- Hold an unencumbered Massachusetts Registered Nurse license;
- Possess a minimum of an earned baccalaureate degree in nursing;
- Possess a minimum of two years full-time experience in nursing (or its equivalent) within the last five years and evidence of clinical competence;
- Demonstrate and maintain expertise appropriate to teaching responsibilities;
- Experience with electronic teaching devices and simulation desirable.
Compensation:
Commensurate based on education and experience.
