Instructor – PNP


Posting Description: · Performs accurate history and physical examinations · Provides healthcare to children and adolescents including ordering and evaluation of diagnostic tests and management of minor complications. · Provides individualized client teaching and counseling utilizing evidence based practice. · Identifies deviations from normal and consults as needed. · Completes necessary documentation. · Instructs and supervises students and other learners as assigned. · Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: · Graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing · Current certification in specialty area, as appropriate to position · Colorado RN and APN licensure · Current clinical expertise in specialty area · 2 years experience in advanced practice · Prescriptive Authority & DEA · BLS Certification


Required Competencies/Knowledge, Skills and abilities: · Considerable degree of independent judgment is necessary to monitor and respond to changes in a client's condition. · Interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and other members of the health care team. · This is a health care environment with some exposure to biological hazards and infectious disease. · Take one week-at-a-time on-call in a rotation schedule.
