Assistant/Associate Professor, Nursing (Tenure Track)

The University of South Carolina, Beaufort offers a rewarding opportunity for nurse educators to teach in a CCNE accredited baccalaureate program, located at the gateway to Hilton Head Island. The first RN to BSN cohort graduated in May 2009 and the initial pre-licensure class graduated in April 2011. We are currently searching for a full-time, tenure track nursing faculty member, eligible for at the rank of assistant or associate professor, to begin fall 2013.

This position involves the provision of effective didactic, laboratory, simulation, and clinical nursing education for both RN to BSN and Pre-licensure students as well as involvement in service and scholarly activities.


Minimum requirements include a doctoral degree in Nursing, prior effective experience in nursing education, and evidence of scholarship and service. Candidates with clinical expertise in acute care, family care, or specialty of psych/mental health nursing will be given priority consideration.
