Averett University, a growing, private, comprehensive liberal arts university, is seeking applications for adjunct nursing faculty and Subject Matter Experts(SMEs) to help grow its new RN-to-BSN program. Averett is holding an open house on October 5 between 10 AM to Noon at our Chesapeake Location at 638 Independence Parkway, Suite 200, Chesapeake, VA 23320.

All applicants must hold a minimum of an MSN with preference given to applicants holding a terminal degree in nursing or a closely related field from a regionally accredited university, as well as a current RN certification. Additionally, teaching candidates must have at least one or more years of instructional experience at the baccalaureate level. Averett is also seeking SMEs to work with instructional designers to develop new online nursing and science courses.
