Job Summary
The Nursing faculty position in the ASN Program is primarily responsible for teaching didactic, lab, and/or clinical courses; student advisement; committee membership(s); maintaining involvement in University, College, School, and professional service; contributing to the nursing body of knowledge through personal and collaborative scholarship; and demonstrating effective leadership skills and the ability to work collegially in a group of dedicated faculty.

Minimum Qualifications
1. MSN degree
2. Current valid RN license in the state of Alabama
3. Minimum of five years of nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
1. Doctoral degree in nursing or related field
2. National certification
3. Teaching experience in nursing education
4. Experience with online course development and delivery
