Job Summary:
The University of Southern Mississippi invites applicants for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track faculty position as an Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing.
Qualified applicants with teaching/practice experience in a specialty area of nursing (including, but not limited to, adult health nursing, psychiatric nurse practitioner, family nurse practitioner, nursing leadership and administration, health policy and ethics) are welcome to apply.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will develop and teach upper-level undergraduate and graduate courses and contribute broadly to our thriving BSN, RN-BSN, MSN, PHD, DNP programs and contribute to the teaching, scholarship, and service mission of the College.
Minimum Qualifications:
Masters in Nursing and an earned doctorate in Nursing or a related discipline.
A minimum of two years of teaching and three years of clinical nursing experience.
Salary and appointment to assistant professor will be commensurate with qualifications and experience appropriate for that rank.
