Nursing – Faculty Position As Clinical Site Evaluator (Cse) – 630001 Hs Nurs Administration

Job Description: East Carolina University College of Nursing (CON) is currently seeking applications for a half-time (0.5 FTE) Project Faculty to serve as the Clinical Site Evaluator (CSE).

Responsibilities include: The CSE will support the Project Director, ECU CON and OCSAE faculty in project-related activities including assessing existing and potential clinical placement sites (as many as 100 sites throughout the state) to determine the level of interprofessional practice and the suitability of the site for teaching students to care for clients with multiple chronic conditions. This person will also assist with pre- and post-testing of clinical staff, including but not limited to RHCC staff and students regarding attitudes about IPE. Information from this assessment will be used to evaluate which of the many clinical sites used to educate our FNP and AGNP students provide the best opportunity for interprofessional education and practice.


The CSE will assist the PD to ensure that the project goals are met, particularly the goals related interprofessional collaboration and the clinical care of clients with multiple chronic conditions. The CSE will require knowledge of the accreditation standards for FNP and AGNP clinical training, interprofessional competencies, and components of advanced practice nursing care of clients with multiple chronic conditions.


Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of a Master's Degree in Nursing with certification as a FNP or AGNP. Qualifying degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.


Excellent interpersonal skills required in all venues including both verbal and written communication in a highly autonomous environment.


Strong organizational, analytical and planning skills and ability to work well with a variety of interprofessional project team members and ability to travel work with remote project, clinical sites as noted in project work plan.
