o Identify and recommend effective storage solutions, through investigating new technologies and comparing with existing infrastructure
o Evaluate, deploy, maintain and support infrastructure solutions
o Liaise and work with campus and external service providers
o Consult with users to identify problems and needs
o Provide formal and informal user training in the use of information systems
o Recommend software and hardware upgrades and enhancements
o Provide cost/benefit analysis to administration regarding upgrades to current systems or alternative/replacement systems
o Designs, develops, implements, and documents procedures for deploying, maintaining, and using information systems and servers
o Evaluate, deploy, and maintain School servers, including disaster recovery protocols

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or relevant, related and equivalent professional experience.

Demonstrated detailed knowledge of desktop (Windows and OS X) operating systems in order to integrate them into network infrastructure.

Working knowledge of LAN, WAN, WLAN technologies and internet protocols including but not limited to TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, FTP/SFTP, SMTP, IMAP, POP, HTTP, HTTPS, BGP, 802.11X
