The Opportunity:

Deltak is currently seeking Graduate Nursing Adjunct Faculty members to assist with one of our partner institutions. The institution we are representing is one of America's Top Regional Universities focusing on expansion of their state-of-the-art online programs.

The Company:

Deltak partners with traditional colleges and universities, many ranked by U.S. News and World Report, to deliver high quality online graduate degree programs. Due to the high demand for the online programs offered by our partner universities, Deltak is seeking to connect qualified instructors with our partner schools for online faculty positions.

Our partners are seeking faculty members who bring a strong clinical background and scholarship to teach in the MSN -FNP program. Expertise is sought in areas to include: research, advanced health assessment, primary care of adults and children, pathophysiology, pharmacology, bioethics, and health policy

Responsibilities:

• Teaching online graduate classes in nursing studies


• Developing challenging and applicable course curriculum and assignments


• Engaging and communicating with students in a timely and effective manner


• Grading assignments and providing feedback to students in a way that progresses the learning process


• Creating and maintaining a user-friendly online learning environment using the Deltak system


• Communicating timely with the dean on roadblocks/successes, and sharing knowledge freely to improve the students' and School of Nursing experience.


• Responding to student inquiries within 24 hours and being fully active in the online classroom five out of seven days per week

Position Requirements:

• Previous teaching experience ( preferably with APRN students).


• Earned Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.


• Commitment to advocating for the learning and development needs of students earning their MSN degree with FNP focus in a distance learning environment; teaching, advising and mentoring.


• Excellent communication, team, and human-relations skills.


• Certification and licensure as APRN is required for clinical faculty.


• Current RN licensure in one of the 50 states in the US required.


• Experience with distance learning preferred.


• Willing to travel for clinical site visits.
