POSITION	Nursing Program Director - Assistant Professor
COLLEGE	Professional Studies

RESPONSIBILITIES	Manage the Nursing Program under the direction of the department chair Achieving and maintaining external program accreditation Planning, managing, allocating, and facilitating the development of resources (e.g., budgeting and grantsmanship) Managing academic support staff to arrange sufficient classroom space and course scheduling Managing outreach, recruitment and admission of new students Assignment of courses to appropriate faculty members Facilitate the Nursing Program Regional Advisory Committee and Joint Oversight Committee Evaluating the program's teaching and learning progress Teach upper division nursing courses
QUALIFICATIONS (MINIMUM)	Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D), Doctor of Nursing (ND) or Doctor of Nursing Science (DNSc) from an accredited graduate program in nursing Familiarity with Nursing accreditation (i.e., Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and Accreditation commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)) License or license-eligible in California Ability to teach effectively in a wide range of courses Experience working effectively in an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community
QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRABLE)	Experience teaching computer-assisted courses Demonstrated leadership skills in professional areas Familiarity with AND programs and DSN completion programs
