- Teach in areas of expertise (adult health, Family NP or, and/or primary care )
- Supervise students in clinical areas
- Conduct research in area of expertise
- Seek extramural funding
- Participation in School, College and University committees
- Perform nursing and community service in areas of expertise

Required Qualifications: Basic/Minimum:
- Doctoral degree in Nursing (DNP, PhD or EdD)
- Two years clinical experience
- Candidate should have a record of scholarship
- Licensure as a registered nurse in Florida or eligible for Florida License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult/Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- Community/public health experience
- Teaching experience in nursing
