QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Minimum: Applicants should have earned a Master's Degree in Nursing with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours from an accredited college or university. Applicants should hold a current and unencumbered license, or be eligible for licensure, as a professional registered nurse in the State of Tennessee; hold current American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers, and successfully clear criminal background and drug screening assessments.
Preferred: Preferred qualifications are an earned doctorate degree in nursing or a related field from an accredited institution, master's degree in nursing with three years full-time college teaching experience that demonstrates excellence in teaching and student success, and experience with regional and programmatic accreditation. Applicants currently enrolled in doctoral program will be considered.
