Job Description:
Bellarmine University has an opening for a 9-month tenure-track appointment as Assistant/Associate Professor of Nursing. The starting date is flexible for this position. Responsibilities may include undergraduate and graduate classroom and clinical/practica teaching with opportunities available for interdisciplinary, international and Honors courses. Teaching responsibilities at the undergraduate level may include medical-surgical nursing, pediatric nursing care, community health or psychiatric nursing.
Requirements:
Master's degree in related field required; doctoral degree preferred and required for tenure track, ranked appointment. Must be licensed to practice or teaching nursing in Kentucky or be able to obtain such licensing if hired. Experience teaching in higher education preferred. Clinical experience in nursing preferred.
Additional Information:
The School of Nursing offers the following undergraduate programs: 4-year traditional, 1-year accelerated second degree and RN to BSN tracks. The graduate programs include: MSN in nursing administration, nursing education and Family Nurse Practitioner tracks and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP).
