Instructor – Nurse Practitioner

Posting Description: The University of Colorado School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine is seeking an ANP/NP. NP will provide comprehensive care for acute and chronic adult illnesses. NP will also partner with Radiology Services to provide daytime coverage for contrast reactions. Candidate must have experience and training in caring for adults with chronic illness - such as diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, asthma, and depression. NP should also have experience and training in providing preventative health care services to men and women, including contraception management, recommendations for age appropriate screening services, and performance of pap smears. NP must also have current ACLS certification (or be willing to obtain it). Candidate should have a working knowledge of billing for health care services in an ambulatory care setting. NP will work closely with faculty physicians and clinic staff. Minimum Qualifications: -Must have State Licenses (RN,APN) -Must be an ANP/NP -Must be certified (ie.ANCC)
