Posting Description: The Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes at the University of Colorado at Denver is a multi-disciplinary diabetes center affiliated with Children's Hospital of Colorado as well as the University of Colorado, School of Medicine. The patient population is primarily with adults with type 1 diabetes, but also includes some adults with type 2 diabetes. In addition to the clinical program, the Barbara Davis Center has a large clinical research program. This Instructor position is an at-will faculty appointment. This position will provide diabetes care to newly diagnosed and established adults who have Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes. This appointment will involve approximately 100% clinical work.

Minimum Qualifications: Must have or be able to obtain Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license to practice in Colorado.

Desired Qualifications: *Combination of previous clinical experience in type 1 diabetes and with special interest and experience in diabetes. *Will be expected to certify as a diabetes educator (CDE)
