Assistant Director Department of Nursing

An Assistant Director for the Department of Nursing is needed at Campbell University. Our new director will assume the role of clinical agency liaison, help plan clinical experiences, evaluate theoretical and clinical components of student instruction, and will work with Program Development. Candidate should have demonstrated expertise in teaching and learning principals for adult education.

Qualifications

Education:

1. Master's Degree with nursing major required

2. Doctorate in nursing or related field preferred. Candidate must be willing to begin work on terminal degree within three years of hire.

Professional:

1. Licensure as a North Carolina Registered Nurse.

2. Pre-licensure teaching experience

3. 1-2 years of teaching experience in an academic or healthcare setting preferred.

4. Experience commensurate with rank of Assistant/Associate Professor
