Starting Date: Academic Year 2014, (begins June 2014).
Qualifications: The available tenure-track position is at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Nurse Anesthesia program. Masters in Nurse Anesthesia required, doctorate in appropriate field preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated desire to teach in clinical and didactic venues.
Duties: Teaching responsibilities will include teaching didactic courses in the Nurse Anesthesia program, conducting simulation exercises and mentoring at clinical sites. The successful candidate should be committed to excellence in teaching. The candidate will help develop the DNP program in Nurse Anesthesia. The position also involves related duties such as student advising, university committee work, departmental duties and continuing professional development.
School: The College of Arts & Sciences is the intellectual foundation of Webster University. The College's 68 full-time faculty and eight departments offer seven graduate programs or study and more than 30 undergraduate programs. The College offers programs at over 30 locations throughout the United States and at six international sites.
