The University of Central Missouri Department of Nursing is currently seeking applicants for one, onsite, 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position. The University of Central Missouri main campus is located near Highways 50 and 13, approximately 35 miles east of the Kansas City metropolitan area. A second center is located near 50 Highway and Chipman Road in Lee's Summit, MO. The person selected for this position will be assigned to the Main campus, and will primarily work in the Warrensburg area teaching theory and clinical in undergraduate and possibly teaching in the graduate program. Primary responsibility will be in teaching theory and clinical. The University offers both undergraduate and graduate CCNE accredited nursing programs. Applicants for the tenure-track position must hold a doctorate or be pursuing a doctorate in nursing or related field, hold a Master's degree in Nursing, and have 2 years nursing experience within the last 5 years. Special consideration will be given to candidates with previous baccalaureate teaching experience. A current, active RN license with eligibility for licensure in Missouri is required. Completion of doctorate required for tenure consideration.
