Education & Experience Required: A masters or doctorate in Nursing with emphasis in Nursing, Education, or Administration. The candidate must be eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in California. A minimum of three years of experience in an academic administrative position is desired. Effective teaching, curriculum development, and program evaluation experience is essential.
Responsibilities:
Administer the Nursing department
Develop vision with a strategic plan for future of the department
Foster development of faculty
Oversee curriculum development and program evaluation
Participate on departmental and university committees
Possible classroom teaching in area of expertise
Advance nursing to the university and external community
