The University of Utah, College of Nursing is pleased to announce the opening of full-time, tenure-track faculty positions. We seek innovative and energetic candidates with earned doctorates in nursing or related fields that can make a substantial contribution to our research mission and can provide leadership within the educational programs. Strong research and practice initiatives complement our education mission with programs in cancer, aging, end of life, women, children and mental health.
The College of Nursing has a long and distinguished history of excellence in nursing and gerontology education, research and practice. The Hartford Center of Excellence in Geriatric Nursing Education, Intermountain Healthcare Simulation Learning Center and the VA Nursing Academy provide rich collaborative opportunities. The College awards baccalaureate degrees to traditional and second-degree students as well as registered nurses. Graduate education offered by the College of Nursing includes the Master of Science degree, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and PhD. We also offer certificates and a Master of Science degree in Gerontology.
The College is an integral part of the Academic Health Sciences Center, which consists of the University Health Care system, Eccles Health Sciences Library, the School of Medicine and the Colleges of Health, Pharmacy and Nursing.
