General Description: Faculty members are responsible for creating a premier, student-centered learning environment accessible to individual learners with diverse educational needs and goals.
The full time faculty member in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing will be the NU 214 course coordinator in both the RN day and RN evening/weekend option and will instruct in the classroom and clinical setting.
In the fall, the faculty member will lecture in the classroom on Monday and will be assigned a clinical group either on Tuesday and Wednesday or Thursday and Friday during the day-time.
In the spring, the faculty member will lecture in the classroom on Thursday evenings and will be assigned a clinical group on Saturday and Sunday days.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing [required].
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience on an inpatient psychiatric unit [required].
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of college teaching experience [preferred].
- Two years teaching experience in a clinical setting [preferred].
- SALARY: Commensurate with education and experience
