Summary of Job Duties
Management of Skills and Sim Lab for Practical Nursing and Health Occupations students including lab supply inventory and ordering; participating in Skills Labs in Foundations and Medical-Surgical Nursing; assisting with skills competency assessments of practical nursing students; and participation in SIM Lab experiences. Instructional responsibilities are shared with other faculty.
Required Qualifications
- BSN or be actively working towards a BSN.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas or have the qualifications to obtain licensure in Kansas as a Registered Nurse.
- Strong background in medical/surgical nursing required.
Preferred Qualifications
- MSN or currently work on MSN and teaching experience preferred
